American Revolution Quotes
Books of August: some new
For toddlers, Gallimard proposes a new form of literature in the collection All My First Discoveries , books, puzzles that seem welcome. Small, organized as question / answer hidden (puzzle piece), they will find their place in the section for small times relied on language handling. The illustrations are signed Pierre Hugo, Rene Mettler and Sylvaine Peyrols, they combine the accuracy of the sweetness. Alternative to the classic picture book, in class it would be prudent to store them early in a zippered pocket to avoid misplacing the parts. Already published the following titles: Who lives in this strange house? That eat animals?, What's in this egg? and What is this animal? (6 euros)
documentary side, too, the Seuil publishing two new albums " Natural Sciences Tatsu Nagata " The earthworm and Wolf (8.50 euros).
Two animals dear to children, despite their dubious reputation ... Tatsu Nagata plays about the discrepancy and humor to convey scientific information. His albums are sometimes discussed in schools, some colleagues found that the objective of extension requires access to the humor and double meaning not always accessible to students. Anyway, a few humor can not hurt, the images are beautiful and funny, Tatsu Nagata who lives in Japan draws nature in a unique way, his poetry and commitment provide a good color peculiar to his albums. My favorite, Alice in Wonderland Lewis Carroll from illustrated by Emma Chichester Clark (Gallimard Jeunesse, 13 euros). This beautiful album provides access to a simplified but accurate text (CE2 / CM). The illustrations support the explicit understanding, both traditional and dreamy they deploy the charm of a world blue and green. For use in class, I regret that the back cover contains quotes by Quentin Blake Clark and AC rather than a text invitation to play for children.
Alain Chiche continues his series of small books citizens, the collection is my planet. This time with In my school he takes us in class: instead of personal enrichment, sharing, respect, gaming .. It explains how to go to school is an opportunity, not so stupid to remember . In this album in its own way, we find the thick black lines on colored backgrounds and writing cursive on the left page. A two-page document at the end repositions the right to education under the Rights of the Child. (The Rowan 13 euros)
Three other news arrived on my desk: I want to do it alone , Tony Ross, Little Princess continues to do its thing, no doubt that the theme of self-talk to some students, the text uses the simple past and will compare the syntactic forms of Kindergarten in a little complex to describe simple situations, an opportunity to sort out the difficulties. Tony Ross's illustrations are just as effective. (Gallimard Jeunesse 12.50 euros)
Dangers! , Alexandra and Sophia Menthon Delrieu, illustrations by Henri Fellner a documentary to air time that declines situations Miscellaneous mode question / answers. Some questions: It seems that some children are playing dangerous games at recess, which ones? What racketeering a sport? What should I do if I followed in the street? Eric's brother smokes cannabis, what is it? What should I do if there is fire? (...) This book can serve as a support to address certain topics in class. Even if it ends in "Fortune favors the brave" after the completion of a long list of outrages, we might avoid some students anxious to leave too deeply immersed in this book. However, it seems interesting (Gallimard Youth 8.50 euros)
A hardcover Claire Nadaud Leo, it's time , offers an account of a day and an animated clock on the flap, stand the test in class. (Threshold Youth 13euros)

Rituals in kindergarten: Week
is mounting a poster pasted on white cardboard 60 x 55 cm plastic.
I also laminated and carved bone and spot the red arrow.
I fixed the arrow with a brad.
Each morning, we moved forward arrow and we give the bone to Spot (which holds with the patafix)

The first day of school in a small section is very important. This is a first for the new day and a reunion for veterans of the GST that I kept in PS. Anyway, it will take a long time home on that day for each. Activities will be somewhat reduced over time. But they expect to work then everyone will carry a small symbolic reminder to take home. This will give me the opportunity to present the first day an album on which we will work during the month of September:

Back in Paris, I found the rain ... and my computer ^ ^
Back in Paris, I found the rain ... and my computer ^ ^ I is not too idle during the holidays, I'm pretty satisfied. I completed the physical, it remains for me to finish the story. I'm going to end and parallel to the topics and exercises. So new programs:

learn the cards: years of math and grammar
How do you advance? Also in the same train?
admit that the return is difficult because the motivation is remained somewhat in the Vendee! But six weeks of the contest is not the time to falter! Not easy to be understood around me, not easy to see everyone to sunbathe while others remain locked up ... I can almost hope that time passes more quickly to be rid of writings. And returned to the IUFM coming soon, too, with 30 dates of competition already established white (17 and 18 September) ...
I pray to qualify, because I can not wait now is to do internships in responsibility! I who was so reluctant this year, and I regret it bitterly now I just waiting for that!
So we have what it takes ...
